It will take two complete revolutions of the accessory drive pulley. You will set one set of valves and one injector at each position in the sequence. This squeezes oil from the injector so that you're making the adjustment against injector return spring pressure and not fluid or hydraulic pressure. Valves look like spring-tensioned inverted golf tees that are opened by lobes on rotating camshafts, either directly in overhead-cam engines or by means of pushrods acting on rocker arms in. Be sure to depress each injector lever slightly as you go through the sequence of adjusting them. You will set the lash in this order.You verify where to start by determining which set of valves are closed, meaning which rocker arms are loose.The injectors should be set to 6in.lb. The intake valves are the center ones under each valve cover. Also,you will see a arrow like pointer on the cover. The marks will be near the front cover on the pulley.
You will need to find A,B,& C on your accessory drive pulley.
